Auto workers are demanding a 40% raise to match the 40% pay increase CEOs of the Detroit automakers got over the past 4 years.

CEOs are calling this absurd, but they couldn't be more wrong.

THIS IS A COMPROMISE. Why? Because worker's real wages have fallen 30% over the past 20 years. They're foregoing 16 years of wage theft for 4 of equity, and consistent equity going forward. That's basic justice.

Pay workers. Unionize workers. Tax billionaires. Save our economy.

Very scary scene at the Bills Bengals game. Damar Hamlin took a hit. He stood up and then collapsed. He was down for more than 9 minutes as emergency crews administered CPR. An ambulance was brought onto the field. I am not sure how they can or should continue to play tonight. #BuffaloBills #Bengals

People on the other site keep telling me that Mastodon is just an echo chamber... which... is not at all how I'm experiencing it. Lots of people seem willing to disagree with me and make their disagreements clear.

They just don't suggest that I don't deserve to live when they do. And that seems healthier.
