Many people, when they look out at the world, all they want to see is themselves reflected back at them. When they see something else, they feel afraid.

Because there are a lot of people who are way smarter than me who will verify it, and then sound the alarm when they find something.

Detours like that happen to most of us. It’s totally worth it once you finally arrive at the place where you don’t need it anymore. It’s an amazing feeling.
