mention to Mister Drifty that the clip played of Irulan's exposition was voiced by Virginia Madsen in David Lynch's eighties version of "Dune," and was not from the oughts' SiFy miniseries as you mentioned, which is pretty good on its own, I'll agree, but has no such introduction. So whichever of you did NOT script that part of the pod episode, be sure to mock the other mercilessly for being a such a sloppy sci-fi geek.
I'm teasing - you guys are great, keep it up.

I don't think it's about gender. I think at its root it's about arrested maturity exacerbated by a fear of inadequacy. Our culture lionizes and glorifies qualities they know very well they will never possess, and they resent it.

Unfortunately I didn't catch why she feels that way; I confess to a hotly burning curiosity about exactly what line was too far. After all the other lies and larceny and abuse and social sabotage that went on around her for a decade, what was it that was simply too much?

Whomever is in charge of the snaps on Canonical's store might want to look into this; it might be as simple as a version refresh - or it might not. Clementine's tagreader function is spawning processes willy-nilly, and the snap-installed client is too old to include a necessary limiter (the application's developers have already addressed the issue).
