Letting go of control is one of the hardest things for me.
Whether I'm painting, trying something new, sitting in the dentist chair, getting examined by a doctor, etc.
It's so hard to let go and just surrender. I try to relax and within no time I am tensing my muscles ... without be aware of doing it.
With painting I am getting better at recognizing that tension. If I become aware of the tension, its time to play and loosen up.
