I think this is a really good point. Many (most?) of his supporters are aspiring grifters in some way. He convinces them he is letting them in on his grift.

We are heading towards a matriarchal society.
In 20 years (maybe 10) leadership positions are going to be majority female.

I realize Trump is not getting the best legal minds, but how does he get any lawyers?
His pattern is pretty clear. Use lawyer to enable crime, throw under bus, repeat.

Despite the bluster, I think McCarthy is painfully aware of how week his position is.
Plus, even though the GOP wants to blame the Dems for the deficit, they don't want to do any of the things that would actually reduce it. Quite the opposite.

Horrible, but also pointless.
Putin is wasting his limited resources attacking civilians. Which will do nothing to weaken the Ukrainian armed forces, but will strengthen Ukrainian patriotism and increase international sympathy.
