I receive emails every day, and most people are incredibly kind. I truly enjoy it. This situation, however, was an exception.
But it didn’t stop with the email. He attempted to purchase the device using the identity of a German individual, while paying through PayPal with the same email address he had used to contact me.
I have a “no jerks” clause in my Terms of Service, so I declined the purchase. He escalated the matter to PayPal and even tried to buy the device through another e-commerce platform where I also sell. One of these platforms opened an investigation to ensure I wasn’t discriminating against him.
In the end, they concluded the same thing: the guy is a jerk. The case was closed.
