> When two ions passed by each other without colliding, some of their virtual photons interacted and turned into real photons with very high energy. These photons then collided with each other and produced electron-positron pairs, which were detected by the STAR detector at RHIC. @caseyliss Everyone knows you’re a strong proponent of back-in parking, but pull-through parking is even better. You get the benefits of backing in without backing in!

Obviously, pull-through isn’t always an option. But I often choose to park farther away in a parking lot just to get a pull-through space.
