Another visit to Chicago. Didn't bring my camera and regretted it but stopped to take this with my phone on the train platform.

I think this is one of my favorites from Chicago, I like the dramatic difference in lighting. I've experimented with #darktable in the past and haven't yet been able to edit a raw into something I liked more than the jpeg, but I just needed to rotate this one and it worked great for that!

I love how close the river and deck colors are, and was lucky to take the pic when the person sitting in front was looking up.

Took this in Red Wing Minnesota last month. I like the 'layers' in this, and how strange this marina looks when everything's frozen and it's not super obvious what this place is.

@[email protected] Did you stay at the Hyatt Regency Chicago? That's where we stayed and the exact same thing happened to us, we walked all around the building and eventually just went in via the valet entrance.

Photo I took on vacation to Chicago in October. I like how the ladder and post are both perfectly straight, but all the grass behind it is leaning.
