@FediThing @rysiek @jmcs This is EXACTLY it if you ask me. It's not about principle, it's certainly not about building a safe social space for us "regulars", it doesn't even seem like it's really about money entirely. It just seems like they want to be big-timers, and "featured" in articles, and just clout clout clout. Look no further than just every single headshot of Jay. The ooze of self-importance is just so thick...
