@mishellbaker Two lines from that film (besides “I’ll have what she’s having.”) will forever stick in my mind.

The first, of course, is Harry’s “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your with someone, you want the rest of your life to begin as soon as possible.”

The other is from Jess: “You made a woman *meow?*”

@mishellbaker Sadly, it’s online. I miss FtF, but it’s almost impossible to get a regular in-person group going.

It does mean that I can resist buying all the cool stuff that’s only useful in a meatspace group, AND I don’t have to clean the house!

@mishellbaker We rewatched this a week or two ago - absolutely one of my favorite films. So refreshing to see something where the action isn’t driven by explosions or fistfights!

@mishellbaker Playing the first session of a new Daggerheart campaign.

Setting created by a friend, GM is my wife, and two of the other players are my half-brother and his son, who I didn’t even know existed until about three years ago. ( We still haven’t had a chance to meet in person.)

My wife is soooo going to regret having all three of us in this campaign - oh, the shenanigans we will get up to, playing off each other!

1. A face to face TTRPG group with just the right mix of “role” and “roll” playing.

2. A new box of notebooks to set up as worldbuilding/note bibles for writing projects.

3. My wife’s love of 3D printing and willingness to print just about anything I want.

@mishellbaker I am fortunate enough to be able to pretty much count on 1 Starbucks evening and 1 writer’s group evening per week, and generally at least 1 other time during the week.

I tell myself I’m taking it easy after November, but sometimes your fingers just start itching, you know?

Of course, the “hole in the page” doesn’t open up every time, but when it does….

@mishellbaker #3ThingsILove today:

1) A lovely lunch with coworkers I actually like and the chance to reconnect with a former boss we all loved.

2) Chai tea lattes (I feel like I’ve said that before; they are my “writing” drink of choice)

3) That feeling when the page opens up and before you know it, you’ve written a thousand words and your latte isn’t even cool enough to drink yet.

@mishellbaker
1. Chai tea latte in my wonderful Yeti mug that keeps it at drinking temperature for *hours.*

2. “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses. It’s not Christmas season until I hear it.

3. Lunch with a good friend from high school. Good food and lots of catching up.
