@[email protected]@mastodon.social Maybe this case interests you: https://wiiuka.de/products/skiin-more-hulle-iphone-13

There‘s an opening for the Camera Control button, though. But the bottom is open, just as you (and I) prefer it.

Could send one to you, since they don’t offer shipping to the US. However, you couldn’t return it if there’s something you don’t like.

@altstore And with this, you’ve converted to the dark side. Well done. Keep being used by an abysmal human being. I’m done with AltStore.

Free isn’t always better. But enough sheep will be happy I guess. Good luck.

@daringfireball In some cases I could even compare prices online. When it comes to social media, you DON‘T have a choice. Especially as teenager under a lot of peer pressure, trying to fit in and find your way. But also as someone with a low income job who still likes to take part in social life.

Either you use the social media platform many/most/all of your friend use or you’re out. And THAT’S the difference. People are compelled to keep (addicted to) using those apps. 2/2

@daringfireball That you had to write so many words to frame your position just so that it might make a little sense speaks volumes. Still, you’re debating the issue on wrong merits.

Sure, when I go to the grocery story and sign up for their rewards program to get things cheaper, that’s (maybe) an informed choice. I do have, however, always the choice to go to another grocery store where the product might only cost very little more. 1/3

@daringfireball I wouldn’t use YouTube any other way. In safari, I can at least block all their ads and tracking. I rarely start the YouTube app on my iPhone / iPad anymore. It’s just a nicer experience in Safari, given the right extension are installed.

Spotify? They’re not even on the HomePod. I would have switched back to Spotify at one point. But they suck for doing things out of spite. So I said bye bye forever.

@console @daringfireball Netflix doesn’t pay 30%. Not even close as it’s a „screen reader app“.

What’s your argument again?

@digiges Schönes framing was Netzpolitik da treibt.
@daringfireball Just FYI: The Super Bowl is very much an international event, at least here in Germany. Some people stay up until / get up in the middle of the night to watch it and celebrate Super Bowl Night.
