I so rarely get to play Spirit Island with five players. I'm teaching the game to these folks and I'm delighted at how well it's going.

Several weeks ago, we played "Raccoon Sky Pirates," as small animals living in a junkyard who made a skyship for the purpose of finding Even Better Junk in the residences of the nearby neighborhood. Guided by prompts on cards, we created a story in which we dodged angry crows, made mischief for the humans (and their dog), piloted a fancy car into a tree (whoops) and made our escape, aided by a deal with a shady housecat. I created this character while on a binge of picrew-making, but I was in between the failure of one computer and the acquisition of another. So all I have left is the token I made: Vale Bloodkith, dwarven hexblade warlock, he of absolutely no chill. He's a poorly optimized mess and I love him to death.
