Just a small update on the state of the Serbian (a)political lunatic asylum. It's March Madness, you know.
This isn't a banality, but a legit grievance about the AI Ponzi scheme. The same way you'd expect your gardening tools to function properly, so you can enjoy your hobby, you'd expect the AI snake oil to deliver proper fan-translations if it had worked as advertised. But it doesn't.
1/ This Ilya Remeslo business is a big nothingburger. It doesn't show cracks in the Kremlin rule or anything. There's always been hardline nationalist critics of the siloviki. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you retired General-Colonel Leonid Ivashov. ⬇️

3/ Not to mention the case of Miladin Kovačević, who escaped the US with the help of Serbian diplomats, after being convicted for beating up a college student there. Afterwards, he was tried in Serbia for a violent crime committed here. Great job right there, Serbia.
2/ Back in the day, it also provided financial aid to people indicted for war crimes in the ICTY, and to their families. How discriminatory - we should have provided free cash for armed robbers and drug dealers as well. ⬇️

1/ Serbia proves yet again that it doesn't have a reputation it can be ruined: Serbian Government approves financial aid for those facing “trumped-up trials” in Kosovo, because according to the dominant local ideology, every Serb with legal troubles outside Serbia is a "victim of persecution". ⬇️
