Oil spills destroy ecosystems and livelihoods.

Ongoing military attacks only increase the risk. Communities pay the price.

More than 68 loaded oil tankers are trapped in the blocked Strait of Hormuz.

According to Greenpeace research this means at least 14 million tons of oil are at sea in a war zone near many marine protected areas.

No more destruction. Peace NOW.

Tomorrow's antiwar protest in SF:

🚨SAN FRANCISCO ACTION: This Saturday, March 7th, in cities and towns around the country, stand up to say No War on Iran!

Hundreds have already been killed by the U.S. and Israel’s war on Iran—including over 100 children as they sat in their elementary school. The people of the U.S. overwhelmingly oppose the war, but that opposition needs to be expressed in the streets so it is impossible to ignore. Join a protest this Saturday, March 7, to make your voice heard!

We won’t stand by while this new war claims more lives—including the lives of U.S. service members—and Trump and the billionaires in the White House cheer.

War isn't feminist.

Divesting from the war machine, divesting from the corporate food system, and growing food systems that are life-giving and uphold and value women's millennial knowledge is.

Shut Down Colonial Feminism on International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women - Palestinian Feminist Collective

By colonial feminism, we refer to Western and colonial discourses and policies that deploy the language of liberating women to justify invasions, genocides, military occupations, resource extractions, and labor exploitations. Colonial feminism depicts Palestinian women as helpless victims in need of saving from their own culture, society, and religion, while simultaneously rendering them disposable, threatening, and deserving of death. These tactics collude to justify the ongoing Zionist occupation of our homeland, expulsion of our people, and endless warfare waged upon Palestinian life. We reaffirm that Palestine is a feminist issue and assert that feminism is incompatible with Zionism.

@greenpeace Sounds good. But bees are not the only pollinators, and the use of domesticated honeybees for honey and pollination often harms native pollinators.

It's kind of impressive how widespread is the view among US foreign policy types and media figures that you can indiscriminately bomb another country and they will not only love you for it but immediately reform their entire country to be accommodating to your whims.

Like, it's never once come true but that hasn't stopped them from insisting on it every single time.

From the forests of Brazil to the oil fields of the Middle East, say no to Western colonization.

A march is a starting point to say no to another war of aggression and show solidarity with Iranians. After that: divest, boycott, walk out. Disrupt the war machine.

We'll be at the SF march; check Answer Coalition for other locations.

Starting in less than ONE HOUR, our final webinar of this series: " Report-Back from COP30, Reflections on Change-Making and Next Steps."

Register now to hear about COP30, the Peoples' Summit and the Indigenous Village. We will also reflect on corporate capture of climate action.
