Pete Pellegrino, a senior game designer at the Naval War College, is one of my favorite professional designers. He led an amazing tour exploring the college's wargaming history through its famous halls -- such as Luce, Pringle, and Sims Hall.
Look at this wild and beautiful map by Mark Herman -- designed for a global hypothetical WWIII wargame for National Defense University in the 1980s. It is currently on display specifically for SDHistCon at the Naval War College Museum.
Teaching my Littoral Commander: Indo-Pacific at the Naval War College Museum today for SDHistCon East. It's awesome to introduce the LC system to new players. The game is getting tense with lots of missiles being thrown in the air. 💥 💥 💥
