@freemo How will ActivityPub operators in UK (and very soon other Western Nations) be affected? "Online Safety Act" I think is the official name. As I recall, it affects sites with more than some number of users (yay for federated/decentralized). For now.

Call the temperature of the universe at quark confinement (light/matter separation - an observable event, perhaps the earliest possible observable event) Tmax. So you have a scale from 0 to Tmax.

Fact check: trying to find English translation of Russian Constitution. That was an ignorant statement about free speech in Russia - I have just observed that people can say what they want, but not about those in power without consequences. This is the way it has been for 1000s of years - but if the 1993 Constitution or amendments does actually promise this, then that changes my opinion of certain assassinations.
@Nazareno I consider Russia the only sane party in the Ukraine proxy war. But, a Russian immigrant (from the old USSR) had a disturbing claim this morning. He says Putin wants to force all Russians to receive an implant in their right hand for the Russian CBDC. (US plans to bribe first adopters with "Universal" Basic Income.) He bases this on alleged claims from dissident Alexei Navalny. The Western media do not detail exactly what exactly the dissident said to get him an extra 19 years.

Note, Russia does not have a 1st amendment, and speech against the ruler is not protected. It not the business of US to "fix" this - our own 1st and 2nd and 4th amendments are under fire.
