Just here, escaping the elon circus, hangin' in the '🐘🐘 Village' with like-minded peeps. Living on unceded lands, on the oldest living continent πŸ¦˜πŸ¨β€¨Deeply respectful of - & sorry to - First Nations people everywhere ... love this magnificent living, breathing, life-giving planet🌏🌍🌎first & foremost ... intolerant of those who mindlessly - or mindfully - seek to destroy it.

@aby ... what a gorgeous story ... photo's pretty amazing too!
@timhollo @_MillieRooney ... πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ ... brilliant. Absolutely brilliant but ... 😒😭. I just 'skimmed' through it but once I get off the phone after an hour 36 min wait for 'a' Centrelink staff to answer (& then probs a 6-7 min long connection to them, about 4 mins of which I'll be 'on hold') I'll read it more thoroughly. I reckon Millie Rooney should collaborate with the script writers from Working Dog and get Rob Sitch to act in/direct it ... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ might get some airtime.
Oh my goodness ... that's heartbreaking - everywhere it's heartbreaking but especially your post. I lived on the corner of Kopili & Kamanalu for a year ... I'm gutted for Lahaina, for the locals, the environnent & for that most elegant of trees, the beautiful Banyan. My heart is broken seeing this but whatever compassion & empathy I have left goes out to all those on Maui. @johncarlosbaez ... wow ... awesome. Shades of the Joseon era king, 'the Great Sejong' - and the team of linguistic scholars - who devised the written form of the Korean language in the late 14th C.
@Wolfie_Rankin ... it's only funny if it's an EV ... if it's a diesel, it still stinks, Toyota ...
@ozwobbly ... oh too true πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ but πŸ€”πŸ€”... I thought that was just their expert range of 'unethics' πŸ€£πŸ˜‚
@ozwobbly ... nor Rio, a moral compass ... "Rio Tinto iron ore chief executive Simon Trott said the company would reimburse the state for the search if asked to." "If asked to ...". Unbelievable. Our taxes (which Rio contributes ZIP to) have to pay for their abject, dismal, irresponsible incompetence. "Thinking" the State Government should add this "reimbursement" into the cost the massive fine for this unprecedented degree of incompetence (that we know about ...πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ). "Knowing" - that probably - this will get 'dropped off the back of the truck' without Rio having to take any responsibility ... ethically, morally or financially ... not a nano mol's worth of integrity in any of them ... .
@Jakra ... πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ ... now, there's a perfect reason for renewables, right there!
@Jakra ... and your sense of humor, by the sound of it πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ ... phew πŸ˜…the eyebrows ...
