I have an og Genesis / Mega Drive controller, but some of the buttons aren't working. I took a look at the PCB and my guess would be that it's either oxidisation or corrosion on the contacts, but I don't know where to go from here.

I tried cleaning it with a toothbrush and isopropyl alcohol, and when that didn't work I tried wd-40 contact cleaner. Neither seemed to have any effect on the brown bits.

Does anyone have any advice?

So close! I wanted 80k words in the bag by last Thursday but had a less than thrilling writing week.

My plan to use the long weekend to catch up got me within 500 words, and the rest will just have to be rolled up into the next stage.

I've been playing around with my office chair recently and it's way more comfortable now.

I saw some squirrels yesterday. These might be African Grey squirrels, thought to be so intelligent they can have full conversations with humans.

What's that? Parrots? No, these are definitely squirrels mate. You can tell, the tails are totally different.
