One man once interrupted a conversation I was having with another woman about the pros & cons of Funimation v Crunchyroll to inform us he didn't know what on earth we were talking about. So I must remember that even if two guys are having an indepth chat about cricket or whatever that does not involve me at all, I am entitled to derail it and demand they be my personal google before I tell them I'm too intellectual to care about it in the first place.
Every time on The Other Place when I use a well-used acronym for a REALLY well known video game, there's always some middle aged bloke in the comments all 'Hahaha I don't understand what you're talking about' and anyway I'm going to start interrupting blokes the same way every time they talk about a cricketer or footballer I don't know & see how funny they think the ' pay attention to me, I don't SPEAK pop culture, I am TOO REFINED' schtick is then.
