A lot less sore today thank you. I still don't have much of a voice, and I needed a three hour snooze after walking the dog for just under 40 minutes today (although to be honest, that's only an hour and a half more than normal) Other systems have been working better overall, so getting there now I think. 👍

I can easily imagine.
When we first moved here we were lucky to see 3-4Mb download and .75 upload on the old copper phone line, which made getting my stuff to online shops an exercise of great patience. In fact it ended up that I used to edit the files, transfer to a laptop, and then go up to visit a mate who had a luxurious 70Mb connection I could use to upload them to my shop.

One benefit of living in the sticks is, now we have it at last after years of waiting, the fibre internet service is a pretty good to-the-premises sort. They just hit me with an offer to get a 1Gb service at a quid more a month than the current 150 Mb. Quick mental numbers comparison shows 1Gb is a quite a lot bigger number than 150Mb, so I said, yeah, why not?
I have no idea what to do with this stupid extra speed I didn't really need. Perhaps you'll get my messages nth's of a second quicker now. And I'll get yours before you've even typed the last letter and pressed toot.
But the quid a month for a much bigger number has got to be worth it, just to see its magnificence on the speed test result, hasn't it?

@MikeFromLFE Sounds like a great day. (after the carvery anyway) I'm good with bird ID generally, but I think it's time I learned a bit more about dragonfly species ID.
