I may make a comeback. I am giving it some thought, and that is a pretty unusual occurrence I can tell you.
One benefit of living in the sticks is, now we have it at last after years of waiting, the fibre internet service is a pretty good to-the-premises sort. They just hit me with an offer to get a 1Gb service at a quid more a month than the current 150 Mb. Quick mental numbers comparison shows 1Gb is a quite a lot bigger number than 150Mb, so I said, yeah, why not?
I have no idea what to do with this stupid extra speed I didn't really need. Perhaps you'll get my messages nth's of a second quicker now. And I'll get yours before you've even typed the last letter and pressed toot.
But the quid a month for a much bigger number has got to be worth it, just to see its magnificence on the speed test result, hasn't it?
