@vitruvianmeeple Every time I hear a story like this I feel that deep down the issue is "temporarily embarrassed billionaires." The people saying that WotC will be screwing over the "little guy" don't know (in the best case) that $750,000 is extremely rare absurdity territory and they're just imagining the million-dollar idea they're OF COURSE going to make and being upset that they might have to pay some of that away.
