It’s easy to see naming codes like this not only as “expert speak” but as “rent seeking behaviour” for an expensive diagnosis. The alternative name? TIGHTEN THE GAS CAP, GOOF. $0 fix in 0 time.
I couldn't do it. I've done demos of the new Acrobat PDF layout, but I didn't last 1 hr trying to WORK with it. It won't let me use ➡️⬅️ to select words then apply markup. The menu icons change every time you click on them & tools aren't grouped by type. Annotation tools are split among 3 sets! 🧵

How many corrections makes for a “heavy proofread” in your workplace? Typical proofreading speed is 2500 words per hour (link below), and the 4 corrections per large typeset page page that I just did doesn’t _sound_ awful, but it FELT it. It was agonizing. Would 1 change/5 pages be more in the expected range at the product proofing stage?
