He opened by telling us he would reveal the NSA's first rule for cryptanalysis (which certainly got our attention). "First", he said, "look for cleartext. You'll usually find it."

Gross picture of my crushed thumb, please feel free to not look. Did a number on my thumb fixing up one of Amy's letterpresses yesterday. Being that I work every day with 16 year olds, it can occasionally slip my mind that I am more than twice their age. One of them helped me remember, though, when she told me that her aunt was asking if I was seeing anyone :P
