About a year ago, Andrej Karpathy (@karpathy) mentioned something he called „vibe coding“.
He called it “vibe coding”, and I think the term fits well because the emphasis shifts away from upfront decisions toward intuition and fast feedback loops.
One year later, this way of building feels quietly normal in many teams.
Not as a methodology — but as a default way of working.
What really changed isn’t just speed.
It’s decision-making:
– less certainty upfront
– faster feedback
– more responsibility pushed into product judgment
The real question for me isn’t whether vibe coding works.
It’s whether our product practices are ready for it.
Curious how others are seeing this play out.
