Cooperatives and nationalization of key industries.
I was looking at a thinkpad some months ago on their website and selecting Ubuntu from their options took off $160.
There was certainly some terrible information perpetrated in the beginning which I imagine could have led to some misconceptions and false claims. I remember the first training I went to said that a single sip of alcohol voided your ability to give consent. This is untrue and consent can, legally, be given under the influence albeit may complicate some aspects of some investigations, but the more recent trainings/talks I’ve been to on consent have been excellent and should absolutely be encouraged.
We want a world where everyone understands consent, so people don’t have to preemptively put up so many personal walls around themselves just to feel safe in everyday interactions.
Koss. Used the kph30i with inline mic as a teaching assistant when everything was remote. The porta pro has a version with a mic. I don’t think you can get anything that sounds anywhere close to as good for the price range.
Cooperatives are the best answer. Capitalists will argue they should outcompete traditional firms in the market. If they’re supposed to be better they’d win, right? But the thing is they’re only better for most people… and not the few richest that benefit the most from the current capitalist system. And everyone’s too damn brainwashed to understand private ownership of the means of production is the root cause of so many problems. But let’s just regulate capitalism.
There was one time I was sleeping and my ex’s dog woke me up barking. It really startled me, like I was actually terrified, and without thinking, literally tackled the dog. Always thought I was a runner, but might end up attacking the mummy.
Its modeled after a cooperative.
Its arguably true though. The general wealth the west experiences either comes or came at the expense of the global south.
Most people in the states can barely reach their feet. They have a special bench in their house for putting their shoes on, but they have to make sure they do a proper warmup routine, chair yoga, before else they’ll pull something. Putting their shoes on is like the most exercise they’ll ever get in a day. Too stubborn to admit they need their own handicap parking permit after they stole the one they use from their aging mothers. They take an ultralight backpacking camp chair for the two story elevator ride at work. They can’t be expected to take off their shoes until they have to take their once weekly shower.
I think the issue is offspring has an increased likelihood of genetic defects. So its kind of probably always been taboo. Like since humanities inception.
