Smelt it dealt it…

It’s even worse than this. From Wikipedia:

The chickenpox vaccine first became commercially available in 1984.[10] It was first licensed for use in the US by Merck, under the brand name Varivax, in 1995.

So in a way it being acceptable 30 years ago does mean something. Not what the author thought though.

My understanding is that it’s for learning only. You should be safe for your private singing purposes. It seems like you would own them royalties if you created your own song lyrics, after having read/heard one of theirs…
And if they ask you if you play basketball, ask them if they play minifgolf.

Also outs your report publicly, nice !

A circuit breaker could prematurely cut off all requests to a service, even if only one shard was failing.

They only circuit break retries ?

If a single node is down, then it should not receive traffic via k8s or whatever you use to route based on liveness probe.

Why does your software need to retry anyways? I prefer not implementing live retries, stuff breaks sometimes. Tasks will retry themselves.

You can circuit break the connection to other services so that you stop contacting them if they are down. Giving them some breathing room.

The Wikipedia implem seems much more usual and simple to me: …wikipedia.org/…/Circuit_breaker_design_pattern

Just providing more facts on the “all men” plus maybe a bit more context on the situation here.

From the article:

The number of sexual assault victims in France increased by 33% in 2021 and nearly doubled from 2017, according to a government report. Women made up 89% of rape victims, while 96% of sexual violence perpetrators were men.

It seems that sexual violence has been hidden in plain sight and downplayed heavily by the police and justice system, or simply socially accepted.

It’s estimated 10% of people have been victim of incest, here in France. How can you build something safe based on that.

I don’t believe our current justice system allows for proper rehabilitation. Second offense for such crimes are still very high (10%?).

IMHO It’s a nation wide educational failure and our politicians aren’t really keen on fixing this, for now.
