this is actually pretty discouraging.
The biggest nuisance is bag space. Start with 350, and that was filled up with in-game rewards within 24 hours. I don't live/work near Gyms to earn coins and couldn't use pokestops or open gifts for...like...the first three days or so before I finally said "fuck it" and bought coins (i have a ton of google play credit, so at least it wasn't my money). Used all of it ($10/1200 coins) to get space, thought I was good for a bit. Then I hit level 20 and am 20 over. Wee.
