There are rumors that Apple is going to run some AI/LLM feature(s) on Google infrastructure. Their TPU’s are impressive, which makes sense to use them. However, there are some with concerns about how data will be handled. If these rumors are true, you should very much expect it to work in a similar way as the current ChatGPT implementation in the sense that you will be informed and give consent for any actions taken. Simple as.

Privacy tools, such as App Tracking Transparency, are crucial to the app ecosystem. They empower consumers to exercise control over their data, fostering trust between consumers and the developer/market.

Italy should reconsider its fine, and Germany should reach a similar conclusion in this matter.
