That was a quarter of a century ago.
If you're working for a company that has "Digital Transformation" as a strategic goal in 2023, it's quite possible that nobody in your org's upper echelons has 3/8ths of a clue about what they're doing or why they might want to do it.

Today, as we speak, there is a Parliamentary Inquiry discussing the Work for the Dole scheme, "mutual obligations" used to disempower and humiliate JobSeeker recipients.
JobSeeker is 6% of the *welfare* budget. It's less than a rounding error of the total Commonwealth budget.
While those Senators are mulling over how to scientifically calibrate the bastardry we inflict on the poorest Australians, we're pissing $368 billion up the wall on submarines.
