There’s this workaround that works well : tomshardware.com/…/install-windows-11-without-mic…
It’s definitely not for lambda users and a real pity that we have to resort to this, but it does the job (for now).
So the only thing the article says is :
The Model Spec document says NSFW content “may include erotica, extreme gore, slurs, and unsolicited profanity.” It is unclear if OpenAI’s explorations of how to responsibly make NSFW content envisage loosening its usage policy only slightly, for example to permit generation of erotic text, or more broadly to allow descriptions or depictions of violence.
… and somehow Wired turned it into “OpenAI wants to generate porn”.
This is just pure clickbait.
Tldr :
Early days of Lithium batteries (2000s) were kind of a mess. You’re fine now, thanks to lots of regulations and product maturity.
Batteries can still catch on fire in case they’re smashed, pierced, wet, or exposed to extreme heat (+60C). Have your battery replaced if it was damaged in an accident.
Batteries are expensive. Don’t be tempted to buy cheaper options, and don’t trust Chinese knockoffs. If the price is too good to be true, it’s probably counterfeit and some of the security checks probably haven’t been implemented to save on production costs.
Some micro mobility solutions (think urban e-scooters and bikes) were the first to try to save costs and reduce the quality/security of their batteries. Mostly solved by now, but more regulation is happening.
Apply all these to not only the batteries but also their chargers and you’ll be completely safe 🙂
If you block the ad, the budget is assigned to another person and both FB and the advertiser benefit from you blocking it.
The best way to harm the ad is actually to interact with it (click the ad, or like and unlike it) so that FB registers your “interest” and keeps showing it to you rather than somebody else that could actually be influenced by it. Bonus : you’ll get other similar ads that you can also manipulate the same way.
Not sure how I would use that. Do you mean 2 custom colors to change both the default orange and blue? Ot maybe just a darker grey for the unselected arrow? But then from a UX point of view, I click on upvote and the downvote reacts and fades out. Not sure that makes sense.
Again, the most efficient way to handle it would be to have a different style for the selected arrow, not color. It would then work as well in bedtime mode (b/w and low brightness) for everyone, not just for color blind people :)
I think bedtime mode activates by default on newer Android devices after 10pm when the phone is charging. That’s how mine was set up.
I see my initial reply was upvoted about 30 times. Statistically speaking, I don’t think these would be only from color blind people
