If you're new to Mastodon, know that you don't get your tusks until one of the longtime locals scolds you for not putting your stuff behind a content warning, and your response sets off an old-school flame war that defederates at least three instances.
pretty sure i’m going to move to the qoto.org instance. the other instances i tested out (beige.party, indieweb.social, tilde.zone, and of course mastodon.social) all to some degree are “protecting me” from seeing some of the totally normal content of folks i'm already interacting with on other instances. qoto.org seems to show me everything i try to see, so far.
the moonlander keyboard i got off ebay arrived! looks like it’s in good shape. now to figure out a layout…
