this ai bubble is going to burst any minute now, and we all know what that means: cheap data centre rack space in huge quantities.

can we use server racks to grow salad instead of swindle? i set out to find out: https://sa.lj.am/rack-mount-hydroponics/

here's az777 doing the same. i suspect the planes aren't actually doing this and that this is some artefact of messed up ads-b signal. would be interesting to learn why it's so precisely circular.

remember that bot that used to post about helicopters going in circles? do we need one for 777s doing perfect donuts?

(in this case air india 128 lhr-bom)

i know they make chocolate fridges that work at a similar temperature range, but those seem to cost a fortune. this is just a cheap old mini-fridge, an esp32, a relay, and a ds18b20 temperature sensor.
do i want to know why they make rack mounts for apple speakers?
trip report: in germany, the weather is wetter.

interesting: the cloudflare doh endpoint used by safari includes ecs (client subnet) in its queries. regular 1.1.1.1 and cloudflare doh used by firefox do not.

this might explain why cloudflare resolver is not mentioned anywhere in safari's settings for this. cf's own docs are explicit that they do not include ecs.
