whenever i visit a new city, i add it to my weather app.

this is what my weather app looks like today. out of all the places i've visited on the entire planet, Bangalore is currently the hottest 😭

a few times a week, somebody near my apartment burns a pile of dry leaves and garbage early in the morning. on those days, i wake up with this kind of AQI inside my bedroom ☹️

closing all the windows does no good. there are a few small vents in the bathroom and bedroom that don't fully close, and my windows aren't exactly airtight either.

i'm currently reading the new Next.js 14 documentation. it uses the terms "React" and "Next.js" interchangeably when talking about certain features and APIs, as if they were one and the same. it almost feels like they're doing it intentionally.

here's an example. it's not React that extends the `fetch()` function, but Next.js. if you're using plain React without a framework, your `fetch()` remains unmodified.

these are my two favorite pens in the world. the Sakura Micron 02 and the Uniball Jetstream. i’ve filled so many notebooks using these two.

i’ve tried a lot of writing tools in my life, but these two give me the best handwriting without making my hand cramp up.

if i had to pick just one of these, i’d pick the Micron. it’s actually meant for drawing, but it’s equally good for writing a ton of words without hurting your writing hand.
