btw installed a new gas piston in my office chair, like $20 off amazon. My chair haven't dropped a millimeter since. My blood pressure is 20% what it used to be. Thanks, new gas piston.

Being a big fan of the theoretical budget guitar that can be turned into something amazing I was so thrilled when I just received my first Harley Benton: A Victory Plus BK, actually feels AMAZING.

That is until I did the mandatory switching of strings, and all the string ferules fell off the back 😭.. turned it over, the bridge fell off 😭, turned it over and the nut fell off 😭. Not even making this up.

Anyway I glued all but the bridge back in place.. but jeebus. What a thing to save money on.

I love that during this whole thing with youtube cracking down on ad blockers, they had a cheap subscription called "premium lite", basically ad free youtube and no music.

Anyway they killed that subscription now, so now I need to look for ad blockers. Absolutely stupid since I actually liked being able to pay a little just not to have to do that.

I'm not saying everything is awesome about growing old but instead of ads for "hot singles in your area" I now get ads for "used excavators near me". Preeeetty sweet.
I wish youtubers would leave a little pause after the initial HEY WHAT'S UP GUYS because it becomes awkward when I reply and we speak at the same time

Oh btw, if you're in Stockholm October 28th, don't miss Syntax Error's HALLOWEEN SPECIAL!

I'll be performing along with legends like Shirobon and Wiklund. Let's bloOp!

Wow, I just got a new powerbank, decided not to read the manual because I'm a complete moron, hooked it up to one of my Samsung power chargers because it had a usb-c charging port and voilá; battery swollen like crazy.

Keeping it outside in case the thing explodes, sadlul.

Turns out the digital token grift didn’t work out as a novel way to finally get artists paid for their work! Maybe the soulless automated plagiarism tool will be different
On a night train watching Extraction 2. Like 90 minutes of Call of Duty cutscenes in a row (including dialog). Actually impressive in a way.

Once again I see people talking about how Mastodon needs quote posts and full text search “right now" but is "opposed." Both features are on the road map (https://joinmastodon.org/roadmap) at the highest priority.

The actual problem is resources (money and/or qualified volunteers), which no one seems to talk about. People talk about Mastodon like it's equivalent to companies with billions in VC money, like the only barrier to implementing features is the desire to do so. The barrier is staffing.
