I’ve been running a Kings and Queens of England project using AI to create artwork showing historical English rulers starting with Athelstan.
I’ve largely left the AI to determine the style of artwork and age to show the monarch, only clarifying in a prompt when the output is either unclear or off the mark historically - such as showing an adult ruler that died as a teenager.

I’m relaunching my space industry podcast in the coming weeks - with a focus on the technology going to orbit not the launch. I have some amazing interviews already recorded - but there is so much involved in pulling it all together.
As well as sorting hosting, building a website around the show - https://atripto.space - and deciding branding, there is also decisions over live components, whether to do video as well as audio and frequency or upload.
Recently I’ve been playing with ways to illustrate stories that might otherwise have a generic image by turning to AI.
The results have been mixed at best, but with defined prompts and focused settings it is possible to get near to a usable result - it isn’t there yet.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Shutterstock implementation of DALL-E 2 pans out.
For better or worse these are some examples from recent news stories.

I write a LOT about quantum computing, primarily focused on direct applications but also looking at what comes next.
In a recent article I looked ahead at the new IBM Quantum System Two - the first generation of quantum-centered supercomputers.
It is a flexible platform that will reach 4,000+ qubits by 2025 and rapidly increase soon after that, potentially exponentially.

One of my favourite things to do with AI art is depict scenes i visualise from song lyrics and novels. This is from the dreaming tree by Dave Matthews Band.
