@futurebird Oh jeeze, I just read this like a couple weeks ago, and I too was shocked by the sudden jump in quality!

I enjoyed the first couple books, but the silliness level, while fun, got out of control at points. ER had some silliness, and it was still fun, but it seemed much less forced. And both Granny and Esk seemed like... real people? To a degree that I didn't get from any character from either of the earlier books.

@futurebird It's a crown made for radio!
@carnage4life (also, they're only going to get better)

@carnage4life Seems like an overbroad conclusion - "workers who use AI to help them in their jobs only gain a little productivity" is not the same as "AI can't replace workers".

Seems to ignore the possibility of jobs that AI can be targeted specifically at replacing workers wholesale, rather than helping workers. For example, customer service chatbots. Obviously there will be human customer service reps remaining, but first-line-of-contact ones might be decimated in some cases.

Not with that attitude (The Simpsons)

@redsad I suspect that the incoming Secretary of Health and Human Services does, too.
@random Thanks very much!
@christianselig I want it to be known that I have applied the full scope of my artistic talents to solving this problem for you

@danluu You may very well know this already, but just in case: Your website's Atom feed has no title.

At least in my reader, this makes it show up as "[unknown]", whereas other feeds are clearly identified.
