Something I really like about Humanism is that we embrace all views and beliefs we listen and learn with kindness and genuine interest. The very nature of humanism is to be free to be kind with no other motive other than genuine love for our fellow man.

2: Santa doesn’t bring one child a sofa full of presents and others much less. Teaching them it’s not a measure of your worth that depends on good or bad behaviour; it’s about appreciating some years you’ll get more or less depending on finances and situations and that’s life. All children try and want to be good 😊 and they are all valued equally in this world.
Reason 1: Mum and dad worked hard to buy you gifts at Christmas, helps them understand value.

Also, really enjoying Our Missing Hearts #celesteng listening on #audiable narrated by #lucyliu - I say ‘enjoying’ as much as it's beautifully written, it's all just so terrifyingly close to a possible reality. Christmas reading at it's darkest.
