Pure, unadulterated, staring down a generational abyss, panic.
To conservative Christians the paltry few mentions of homosexuality in the bible are iron clad definites. Literal requirements. But the many far more extensive and vehement passages of the bible attacking wealth and privilege and calling on believers to sacrifice and relinquish their wealth and privilege and warning being rich is an almost guaranteed barricade to getting into Heaven? Those are just metaphors. Pay no attention to those.

If the rich have to use the same system as the rest of us they have a stake in keeping it functioning. If they don't, THEY DON'T.
