You said you worked at the Lombard Ponderosa. I wonder what years that was. Immediately after graduating from UW Madison, I worked at GTE Automatic Electric in Northlake Illinois. From June 1978 until June 1979. I lived at International Village in Lombard. That was about 2 blocks west of the Ponderosa. The 2 restaurants that I ate at was the Ponderosa in Lombard and the Big Boy a couple of miles west on Roosevelt Ave in Glen Ellyn.

@samabuelsamid What is your route to Elkhart Lake? If you take the Badger car ferry (Ludington to Manitowoc) to cross Lake Michigan, let me know. I was born and raised in Manitowoc. I am now retired and summer in Manitowoc and winter in San Diego.

You might want to watch todays Meet the Press. Social media is the topic. Much of it you will not agree with. But they do ask the question, should these companies be protected by 230 when they use algorithms. Does the use of algorithms make them publishers?
