This past weekend, I had the wonderful experience of speedrunning the first act of Final Fantasy VI on the GamesDoneQuick channel for Frost Fatales 2026! I had a wonderful time being part of the event all week, and getting to perform my run on the last day was a perfect way to cap it off.

2025 in review: fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

But y'know, singling out the positives, I survived, kept my job, went to two in-person speedrun events, and met some amazing friends. I learned new runs & got them into events. And I continued to be lucky enough to share a life with my amazing partner, Karen.

But holy FUCK am I tired right now.
