@Larhanya @matthew_d_green Ah okay. I am an Android user as well. What I used to do since the Gingerbread era was creating a .nomedia file. Use any file manager app, create new file. Name it ".nomedia" and place that in any folder you don't want picked up by gallery and media apps. Gallery apps, VLC etc.
I guess WhatsApp must be doing something similar.
@wongmjane Lmao. I used to think Bug Tech forgetting to renew their domains would be the most embarassing self goal. Never thought that could be topped.
Willing to bet this is going to be spun as being totally intentional and deployed to beat bots or whatever. And subscribe to Blue to get access to the "real" domain.
@ParmesanPapi17 Question about the lastest Waveform episode.
That part where you guys swapped places and the headphones and mics were loud at the hosts table and quieter on your desk - is there a specific audio producery, podcast sound mixy reason for it? If yes, can the opposite also potentially happen in some cases? I find the technical aspects of audio and video production to be very cool (that's why I watch the video version for all the small quick visual jokes you put in ) but don't really know much about it to know the answer to this.
Or was it just a funny thing about how you guys configured the mics and I am overthinking lol.
I wrote for Conde Nast Traveller India on the founding of the town of Bidar in the 15th century--a story featuring bullocks, a murdered sultan, a Russian traveller, & the typical infighting that ruined empires.
This is the first in a 5-part series on cities of the Deccan.
