Mindly.Social was updated to Mastodon 4.1.3 this morning (if you blinked, you probably missed it).
Additionally, we've added a Light and High Contrast version of the "Elephant" theme which is renamed to "Bird UI" because I believe that is more descriptive of the theme.
To find them go to your account settings and find Preferences -> Appearance to find the "Site theme" dropdown menu.
FYI - Mindly.Social registrations require manual approval these days because of the amount of spam/bots we've been seeing, but if you have friends or family who want to join you can create an invite for them so they can bypass the manual approval process.
Just go to Preferences (or Edit profile) and click on the "Invite people" option to create invites.
Added a new theme to Mindly.Social that might look a familiar to some of you.
The theme is called "Elephant" in the list but I believe it's official name is "Mastodon Bird UI".
Check it out and see what you think. We'll try to get more themes added soon.
Sadly it'll be another ~11 hours for the cache refresh to complete for Mindly.Social.
I really hope we never have to go through this again. 😩
The performance seems to have slightly improved by adding another server to the mix.
All of the cache refreshing is causing some extra strain on the servers so I've added another one to the Sidekiq pool to help handle the extra load. Thankfully the servers are billed hourly so not a huge cost to adding more temporarily. Might add another one if needed.
