If there's a problem logging in via OAuth, use an app password instead.

https://phanpy.synth.download has been updated to use our custom fork.

here are some of the new additions:

- unicode emojis in the emoji picker and search.
- synth-soc and iceshrimp now support displaying and sending reactions. sharkey can display reactions, however, only the default reaction can be sent.
- for synth-soc only, there is a boost queue feature that spreads out boosts across 20-minute time frames instead of sending them all at once.

while everything should mostly work, there are some issues, mainly iceshrimp is really slow to load and both sharkey and iceshrimp have unproxied media. streaming endpoints via websockets are also not available.

we also do not support federation over hidden services.

hey, synth.download users! we now provide a shorter domain by default with your account when you bridge your account to bluesky via bridgy fed. so instead of receiving @user.instance.synth.download.ap.brid.gy, you'll get @user.instance.synth.download!

this applies to new user enabling the bridge for your account, existing bridged users without a custom domain can follow step 3 over here. happy beeping!
