it's named after Darth Vader
It's a creature of the deep sea! to me, it looks like the Face-hugger from the Alien movies. But the scientists say it looks like Darth Vader's helmet!
Well, I'd let you win, just this one time, scientists! Darth Vader's helmet, it is! I still wouldn't put it anywhere near my face, though.
P. S. It's newly described in formal taxonomy. in January 2025, it seems. Exciting!
