Three projects on the go: got mildly stuck on one, another is dragging off into infinity, and the third has hit the Ezra-Pound’s-views barrier which is making me not want to continue. I’ve added a his-views-aren’t-mine disclaimer, but still. The perils of historic format shifting.

pure CSS animated gradient borders!

how it works:

- @property — so custom property values interpolate for animation
- conic-gradient() — so the gradient can “spin”
- OKLCH — *far* better-looking gradients

thanks to @chriscoyier, @leaverou, and Temani Afif for making me aware of the different pieces that made this demo come together 💜

It goes against everything the EU stands for and would create a two tier system for human rights.

I have argued this point for almost 2 decades.

Spending some political capital internally to push back against crawl / walk / run as being a suitable metaphor for team maturity. It’s not a major thing, but if it’s easy to change…
Of course Lords would have a wicket menu button.

First conference talk in Sweden in Swedish now agreed; feels like public speaking is a pretty big milestone. I’ve asked for Q&A to be in English though 😅

I’ve definitely plateaued with Swedish comprehension to be honest. Really should start an evening class again.
