I am fairly new to the IT industry. Currently holding a position as a System Administrator at a small MSP. Interested in cloud security, pen-testing and networking.
Too bad Kbin doesn’t have much of a following. It’d be nice to have a solid alternative to Reddit.
Wonder what’s going on with Reddit. The platform seems to be having server side issues intermittently.

Just seen an attempted RCE for a client that had the foundation accounting software installed. Luckily the EDR blocked the payload download. Client didn’t even know they still had Foundation installed.

Got hit with an obvious scam message on steam this morning and thought why not inspect the site. Hopped in a kali VM and opened the site. Looks almost legit but seemed like an AITM or possible XSS. I'm still new to pen testing and bug bounty so it's times like these where I wish I had a mentor of some sorts. I did find a domain in redirection process that was on one blacklist according to MX Toolbox. Just thought I'd share this little journey with y'all.
