Went to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center (annex for the Smithsonian Air and Space museum) on Sunday, and it was really cool. We did not plan on enough time though. We spent a couple of hours there and didn't get quite halfway through everything; we'll definitely have to go back soon. The highlight (of the displays we got to) was the actual space shuttle Discovery.

Just saw someone refer to July in the past tense and had one of these moments. I feel like there should have been a few more weeks or something.

We finally got a couch yesterday after leaving behind our old one while moving 7 weeks ago. I already knew I was a bit of a potato, but I didn't really realize just how much until going almost 2 months without a couch at home. The cats seem to be happy with it too.

I recently found out about and watched the mini series Merlin (1998). It's low budget and not well written, but it has a better cast than it has any right to https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0130414/ . Highly recommend for anyone who likes bad movies. I have no idea how I hadn't heard of this before.
