I'm a musician, songwriter, and swimmer. My main instrument is trumpet/flugelhorn. I sing and play ukulele, synths, bass, sax, and flute.

I studied arranging/composition at the #DickGrove School of Music, attended the University of Idaho, and make my home in Oregon.

@geekmomprojects Have you ever had a project with LED lights where they changed color depending on a change in sound/frequency? I've long wanted to add some LEDs to my trumpet mute (or instrument as a whole) so that the lights would change when I played different notes. I have some background in programming, but I've yet to summon the patience or commitment to explore this... but it seems like it would be fun or a once-in-while novelty.
