Jerry 🦙💝🦙I just read another news article about why mastodon didn’t make it and is dying. It’s very sad to hear and probably explains why I have to keep adding more server capacity to handle all the people quitting mastodon.

@mharvey816 Well you have more ability than I. I can only read post, likes/replies/retweets all say that action looks suspicious and to please try again later. So much for town square Twitter was claiming to be. On the bright side other sites like this will grow and hopefully catch on.
But this is a far more drawn out and spectacular way of blowing up a 45 Billion dollar toy.
@BabsSheKing Same experience here. Twitter is basically dead unless you pay monthly. Oh well, Twitter is sending people to other sites so maybe that will help them all grow so no one location is so important any longer.

I agree with your logic but I imagine we disagree about the correction. I don't believe any loans should have been forgiven and I don't believe corporations should get subsidies. I also don't believe that taxpayers should cover student loans and even if that was desirable I would suggest that first you need to fix root issues here or soon it will be another round of loans forgiven using taxpayer funds.
