You know, I really need to make cleaning these small space heaters an annual thing.

This is three+ years of dust/air impurities build up of seasonal use.

The main reason I opened it up to clean it was reduced air flow.

I have set calendar entries to clean the thing mid/season and end of season.

It’s only eight screws to get at the fan and heating element.

After cleaning the heater works like new.

Was scrolling through the Fediverse this morning and the conversation a couple of critters were having was about pre-owned electric vehicles and battery degradation/capacity. I've had my Ford Focus EV since new and it has a 33.5kWh battery pack with a usable capacity of 28.5kWh (to protect the pack I've been told).

I attached my ForScan software and pulled some data. My pack has a current usable capacity of 26.932kWh when fully charged.

That's a 5.5% degradation over five years of ownership.

Not to bad…

- Additional 120 volt circuits
- Additional 120 volt Inverted circuits
- Upgraded the water pump and added an expansion tank
- Insulated the hot water lines
- Replaced Toilet Valve (Twice)
- Replaced lights as needed
- Replaced all cabinet lifter-struts
- Installed Network Gear and Dishy Hookups

All of this was over three years of near constant use. Owning an RV takes a lot of time and maintenance to make sure it looks like new every trip…
